Data Analyst Level 4

Data analysis is in high demand, with organisations increasingly reliant on data to make critical business decisions. Organisations are now becoming more reliant on individuals to be able to collate, organise and interpret data to provide business insights.

Analysts are typically involved with managing, cleansing, abstracting and aggregating data, and conducting a range of analytical studies on that data.

Working across a variety of projects, Data Analysts provide technical data solutions to a range of stakeholders. They document and report the results of data analysis activities, making recommendations to improve business performance.

During the apprenticeship, you will explore a broad range of areas, such as problem solving, statistics, programming and systems analysis as well as databases and data analysis, analytics as well as aspects of data science allowing you to develop your professional knowledge in your area of work. You will be empowered to work independently, implement best practice and work strategically with data to generate accurate, actionable insights

  • identifying, collecting and migrating data

  • interpreting data

  • statistical analysis and other analytical techniques such as data mining

  • producing performance dashboards

  • tools and techniques for data visualisation

  • presenting results to stakeholders and making recommendations
